Getting From the Southern Beaches to the Northern Airport
Colva to Mopa is about seventy-two kilometres and, realistically, two hours. It crosses the Zuari and the Mandovi, passes through the Porvorim bottleneck and finishes on the northern highway. On a Friday evening or a holiday weekend it can take longer, and that is precisely when people miss flights.

How long does Colva to Mopa Airport take?
Around two hours in normal traffic. We add buffer for Friday evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
What time should I leave Colva for my flight?
Generally about four and a half hours before an international departure and three and a half before a domestic one. We confirm the exact time when you book.
Is Mopa or Dabolim better from Colva?
Dabolim is far closer at about an hour. Mopa handles more international and long-haul flights, so it comes down to where your flight leaves from.
Do you do the return trip from Mopa to Colva?

Colva to Mopa Airport Taxi
Colva to Manohar International Airport at Mopa is about 72 kilometres and takes close to two hours. It is the longest routine transfer out of the South Goa beach belt, and the one where leaving late causes the most trouble.
Planning the Mopa run from Colva
- Allow two and a half hours for a domestic flight and three for an international one
- The route runs through Madgao, Verna, Panjim and Porvorim; Panjim is the slow stretch
- Tolls are included in the quoted fare
- Pre-dawn pickups for 6 am departures are routine, with no night surcharge
- Boot space matters on this distance - tell us the bag count when booking
For the return leg, send us your flight number. The driver tracks the landing, waits without charging you for a delay, and meets you at the arrivals exit. After a long flight, walking past the taxi queue to a car that is already yours is worth the two minutes it took to book.
If your dates are flexible and you have not booked flights yet, Dabolim is roughly an hour closer and correspondingly cheaper from Colva. We will tell you that honestly rather than take the longer fare.
